Welcome to Beach House

A laidback foodie destination on a stunning stretch of Devon coast.

Over looking Thurlestone Rock on the South Devon coast, we are located on South Milton Sands part of The National Trust Estate.

Beach House is a rustic beach front cafe and takeaway, open all year round, with lots of outside seating for the summer; snug and cosy inside for the winter.

Whatever the time of year you can come and enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner with us, or just enjoy the wonderful coastal views for coffee or drinks.

Opening Hours

November to March

Open everyday – 9.30am-5pm (food stops at 4pm)

9.30-late on Fridays and Saturdays (food stops at 8pm)

Breakfast served 9.30am-11am

Lunch served from midday

All school holidays we are open everyday until late for dinner.

From April we will be open 4 nights a week out of the holidays.

Puppy Love

We love dogs here at Beach House and they’re very welcome every where. It’s the perfect location for beach walks and sunsets; dog friendly dining- we welcome dogs inside our little hut!

It all started with a uniform for our teams – it has grown into a clothing that reflects our relaxed lifestyle.

Our restaurants, Beach House and School House are situated on two of the most beautiful beaches in the glorious South Hams; Thurlestone and Mothecombe.

Both unique and insistent on serving the best local food and drink.
